Cher Set To Replace Dion In Vegas

Pop veteran Cher will replace Celine Dion at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, in two years' time. The IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME singer, who recently completed her Farewell Tour, will take up residence in the gambling mecca in 2008. The star confirmed the plans to Fox News reporter Roger Friedman on Friday (28APR06). Caesars Palace is planning to build a unique concert hall to house Cher's extravagant show.

Apparently, this is not confirmed but we have been hearing this rumor for too long and want very much to be confirmed by either Cher or Caesar's Palace! Recently, a petition was set up to ask Caesar's Palace to officially consider Cher as third act since Bette Midler is headlining Las Vegas and to announce the confirmation or denial of this long-lasting rumor.
