Chisholm Also Refused Live 8 Spice Girl Reunion

Melanie CHISHOLM has defended her ex-bandmate Melanie Brown, insisting she wasn't the only former SPICE GIRL against a reunion at the London Live 8 concert earlier this month (02JUL05).

SIR Bob Geldof was keen for the former hitmakers to perform at the anti-poverty concert, but said the only stumbling block was Brown, who was reluctant to take up his offer after starting a new life in Los Angeles.

But Chisholm - who now owns her own record company RED GIRL RECORDS - admits she also refused to perform with Brown, Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton at the event, because she wants to move forward.

She says, "I'm sure some people are quite keen for that to happen but I am not one of them."
