Comic British actor John Cleese has decided to release his own World Cup song in aid of this summer's (06) German-hosted soccer championships. The LIFE OF BRIAN star, who achieved comedy greatness with the sitcom FAWLTY TOWERS, has taken inspiration from a scene from the infamous THE GERMANS episode, which coined the catchphrase, "Don't mention the war." The new England anthem is named DON'T MENTION THE WAR and will be available for download ahead of the tournament's kick-off on 9 June. He says, It's a catchy tune. Hopefully you'll be hearing it on a football terrace near you, very, very soon."
