Hollywood hunk George Clooney has agreed to play soccer manager Jose Mourinho in a movie, should one ever be written.

The actor was thrilled when the enigmatic Portuguese head coach of English champions Chelsea declared Clooney should portray him if his life is immortalised on the big screen.

Mourinho said, "I think they should get George Clooney to play me. He's a fantastic actor and my wife thinks he would be ideal."

During a recent interview with a Portuguese magazine the question was posed to the Oscar-nominated actor/director.

Clooney who, at 44, is one year Mourinho's senior, says, "It would be fun. Although I have more grey hairs. But that is nothing that couldn't be solved."

Mourinho recently beat Clooney to come sixth in a British women's magazine poll of the world's sexiest men. Clooney came 11th.
