Connelly Wishes She Was Still At School
Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Connelly loved her time as a child at school in New York so much she wishes she never had to leave.
The A BEAUTIFUL MIND star confesses to being "geeky" because she liked nothing better than reading playwright William Shakespeare and learning the Chinese language.
Reminiscing about her Brooklyn school, St Ann's, she says, "It is a really interesting school. You start taking poetry classes in the first grade and writing poetry and reading Shakespeare. There are no grades. It is very progressive. I even studied Chinese as a kid.
"I loved school. I loved the teachers. I am a bit geeky, I know."14/07/2005 09:09
