AL PACINO's THE GODFATHER character MICHAEL CORLEONE has beaten bad guys in GOODFELLAS and DIE HARD to be voted the Best Movie Villain of All Time.

Pacino's role in the OSCAR-winning movie trilogy, beat 1990's Goodfellas' character TOMMY DeVITO, played by JOE PESCI, and ROBERT DeNIRO's evil MAX CADY in 1991's CAPE FEAR, in the British Sky Movies survey for the nastiest characters in film history.

British actor ALAN RICKMAN's HANS GRUBER from 1988 thriller DIE HARD claimed fourth place, while JACK NICHOLSON's JOKER in 1989'S BATMAN came fifth.

The Top Five Best Movie Villains of All Time are:
