Former MOONLIGHTING star Cybill Shepherd is throwing her support behind California Governor Gray Davis' campaign to stay in power - because she shares a passionate past with him.
The actress - who counts Elvis Presley as one of her former lovers - says she met Davis in Hawaii 36 years ago when she was a 16-year-old girl on vacation with her family and he was a 24-year-old working in a travel agency.
Shepherd says that they "made out passionately" on the beach, and that Davis was "a good kisser".
Shepherd says Davis is a "wonderful" man who has served the state of California well, and that she's very upset about the recall, which could well see TERMINATOR star Arnold Schwarzenegger take the coveted seat.
