British rockers The Darkness were so impressed with R+B star Lemar's unique cover of their hit I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE, they have agreed to record with the singer.

The 26-year-old R+B sensation approached cat-suit sporting Justin Hawkins with a collaboration in mind, only to discover the rock singer had exactly the same idea.

Lemar enthuses, "Justin and I have been talking about recording. When I told him I wanted to get into the studio with him, he said he had been thinking the same thing.

"My fans go mad for that song, so the natural thing is to work together."
