Diamond Uncomfortable With Computers
Neil Diamond refuses to write songs on a computer after a glitch claimed his memoirs 20 years ago.
The SWEET CAROLINE crooner pens everything in longhand with a pen or pencil because he doesn't trust technology.
He says, "I first got my computer in 1984 and it was fascinating so I started writing an autobiography and I wrote about 80 pages of it and the thing crashed. I didn't trust computers since then, so I don't use them very much."
Instead, thrifty Diamond keeps his songs in shopping bags: "It's the only thing that holds all of that stuff and I don't want to invest in a leather bag."
