Diana's Crash Car To Be Investigated In Britain
The Mercedes in which British royal DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES died will be secretly shipped to Britain later this year (05) for a thorough examination by Scotland Yard detectives.
The tragic royal and her boyfriend DODI AL FAYED died in 1997 when the limousine crashed in Paris, France's Pont d'Alma tunnel after Diana left The Ritz hotel.
And the car has been at the centre of numerous conspiracy theories, fuelled by the fact it was stolen months before the accident, leading many to believe the brakes had been tampered with.
A French police spokesman says, "The British are welcome to have the car but they won't find any clues in it as to what caused the crash."24/01/2005 02:55
