Singer/songwriter Dido can hardly contain her excitement at sharing the London Live 8 stage with Scottish star Annie Lennox.

The Life For Rent hitmaker, 33, and Lennox, 50, will join huge names, including Madonna, Mariah Carey, Pink Floyd, SIR Elton John, Robbie Williams, Sir Paul McCartney, Sting and U2 at the British capital's Hyde Park on Saturday (02JUL05).

Dido gushes, "Annie Lennox is an absolute legend. I've got so much respect for her as an artist and as a woman.

"It's women like her that made it possible for women like me to do what we do today.

"She was a real inspiration to me as a kid. I think she's fabulous."
