Doherty Slams 'Snake' Borrell

Pete Doherty has defended his attack on rock rival Johnny Borrell at the Leeds Festival in England this summer (05), dubbing the singer a "f**king c**t" and a "poisonous snake".

Babyshambles rocker Doherty adds Borrell "deserved" the headbutting he gave him and accuses the Razorlight frontman of paying heavies to beat him up.

The pair became friends when Borrell was 15 and Doherty 16, but they have fallen out in recent years.

Doherty says, "Johnny can kiss it to be honest.

"I keep him in line... he knows the score. Some things catch up with you. You can't just dish it out. I went down to see a few of his people and he had two blokes outside in a van. He paid two blokes to do me in."
