Dr Dre has waded into the rap war between Eminem and Ja Rule by dissing the latter on a new Obie Trice track.

Dre has broken his silence on S**T HITS THE FAN, which hits out at Ja Rule and his Murder Inc label, run by rap mogul Irv Gotti.

The Los Angeles-based rapper makes light of the threats Ja Rule made in a recent issue of urban magazine XXL, by snapping, "This little n**ga Ja Rule talking 'bout he gonna slap me/N**ga please, you gotta run and jump and swing up to hit me in the knees/I laugh at these magazines when they talk to him/All they do is make fake threats to us through him."

Eminem also features on the track, rapping over the chorus and claiming Ja Rule only acts tough when he's surrounded by his bodyguards.
