Elvis Goes Under The Hammer
The worldly possessions of rock legend Elvis Presley will go under the hammer this month (AUG03) - to commemorate the 26th anniversary of the singer's death.
Items belonging to the JAILHOUSE ROCK star will be auctioned in a $1.6 million (GBP1 million) televised bidding war conducted by AUCTIONWORLD TV.
Lots featured in the two-day sale include Elvis' first guitar, his combs and a wedding certificate from his marriage to Priscilla Presley.
Bidding will start on Saturday 16 August (03) - the date when Elvis died - and conclude the next evening.05/08/2003 09:22
