Ex-Stereophonic Drummer Launches Own Band
Former STEREOPHONICS drummer STUART CABLE is staying in the music industry despite being fired from the Welsh band - he's launching his own group.
The rocker, 32, who was told to leave the group by frontman KELLY JONES and RICHARD JONES in September last year (03) due to Cable's alleged lack of "commitment" to the MOVIE STAR hitmakers.
Cable has been warned by his former bandmates that he covers any Stereophonics songs, he will be hit with a lawsuit.
The band's spokesman says, "There's no way he would be able to play Sterephonics singles unless he gets permission from the band - which is unlikely.
"He should steer well clear of doing any cover versions if he doesn't want to get sued."26/02/2004 21:07
