Fellowes Fed Up With American Actors
OSCAR-winning screenwriter JULIAN FELLOWES is sick of working Hollywood actors, because they never stick to scripts.
The GOSFORD PARK writer feels superstars wield too much power on movie sets, at the expense of the film itself.
He says, "You do have the status thing in America. There you come up against some actors who want to change their lines because they feel they should be able to.
"It is a test of power in a way. They think, 'I can change the trailer. I can change the poster. I can also change the script.'"
