Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and The Pixies are among the acts paying tribute to late rocker Warren Zevon on a new album.

Zevon's longtime producer JORGE CALDERONE will mastermind the project and record a version of KEEP ME IN YOUR HEART, which he co-wrote with his pal for the rocker's final album THE WIND.

Jackson Browne, Ry Cooder, Steve Earle, Billy Bob Thornton and Don Henley have also recorded versions of Zevon classics for the album, which will be released this autumn (04).

The oddest cut will be comedian Adam Sandler's take on Zevon's WEREWOLVES OF LONDON.

Zevon lost his battle with lung cancer last September (03).
