Garner: 'Fame Has Its Good Points'

Jennifer Garner is determined to remain philosophical about fame, even though her private life is under intense scrutiny since she became engaged to Ben Affleck.

The Daredevil beauty insists the positive side of having a high-profile image outweigh the relentless media attention and harsh criticisms that stars are so often subjected to.

She says, "You can't have success without a flip side.

"Some things you can achieve through this job are amazing, such as making a sick child smile or raising money for charity.

"But the bad side is that your private life isn't so private and you can put yourself up for some incredible criticism.

"Does it hurt? Of course it does. It's just best to put it out of your mind."
