Academy Award nominee William Hurt is furious someone stole his Oscar while he was moving house last year (05).
Hurt is currently nominated as Best Supporting Actor for A History of Violence, and won the Best Actor Oscar for Kiss Of The Spider Woman in 1985.
He explains, "I think it happened last June (05). The house was being moved. It just got lost in transition."
The star says he is still trying to track down his missing award, even though he never kept it on display.
He adds, "I don't sport trophies around the home. I don't want my children thinking of me that way.
"Somebody ripped it off. I'm trying to get it replaced... I'm p**sed off."
