Jackson Takes Over At The Top As Country Reigns In The Us
Jackson's new album WHAT I DO shot to the top of the charts overnight (14-15SEP04) with opening week sales of 178,000 copies. It's Jackson's third chart-topper.
McGraw's LIVE LIKE YOU WERE DYING dropped to number two with 153,000 copies sold.
It's the first time the chart has seen one country act replace another at the top in almost a decade.
The only other new entry in the new top 10 is Anita Baker's comeback album MY EVERYTHING.15/09/2004 21:41
