James Brown Funks Up The White House
Music legend James Brown has a new role with the American government as the Secretary Of Soul and Foreign Minister Of Funk.
The LIVING IN AMERICA singer, 70, was awarded the twin appointments at the December (03) dinner for recipients of the KENNEDY CENTRE HONOURS.
Host COLIN POWELL, the US Secretary Of State, praised Brown's musical achievements, before declaring, "Godfather, I hereby appoint you secretary of soul and foreign minister of funk."18/01/2004 14:02
