Jon Bon Jovi: I Did Ally McBeal To Keep Busy

Rocker and sometime actor Jon Bon Jovi decided to appear in hit American sitcom Ally Mcbeal because the work kept him busy.

But the LIVING ON A PRAYER singer admits he also has a soft spot for the show's star Calista Flockhart.

Bon Jovi says, "I probably had the idea I was going to sleep with Calista, but that didn't work out, and then from that point on I strategised my departure ASAP.

"Truthfully? It was neither here nor there, that experience. I'd been out in Europe doing the CRUSH tour and the movie business was threatening to go on strike so there was nothing being made.

"The opportunity came up to do Ally and it gave me something to keep busy with."
