Juvenile Makes History In Battered New Orleans
Rapper Juvenile has become the first music star to be given permission to shoot a video in New Orleans, Louisiana's ravaged Lower Ninth Ward in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
The rap star, real name Terius Gray, lost his New Orleans home in the August (05) storms and fought to become the first star to return to his native city and shoot a video.
He shot scenes for his new promo, GET YA HUSTLE ON, a song which was written in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The video features footage of streets that were flooded after Katrina hit.
The film features the Juvenile-penned introduction, "This is a tribute to those who died in the wrath of Hurricane Katrina. The storm may have passed, but for thousands the struggle is just beginning."
