Kidman Stunned By Co-Star's 'No Script' Policy
The OSCAR winner plays a woman convinced a ten-year-old boy (played by Bright) is the reincarnation of her dead husband in the intense drama.
She tells NEW YORK POST columnist Liz Smith, "Cameron never read the screenplay. He is splendid. When one works with children, it's very much about short takes. The director and the adult actors know what they have to do in order to get a child's performance. Make the work not like a job, keep it light, make it fun.
