Music legend JOHN LENNON was nicknamed "the Devil's own child" by rock 'n' roll star LITTLE RICHARD after the BEATLE urinated on German nuns during an early tour.

The Beatles were supporting the TOOTIE FRUITY singer in the early 1960s at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany - where Lennon subjected a local religious order to an unsavoury prank from his hotel room.

In new book MR CONFIDENTIAL, author CHRIS HUTCHINS says, "John Lennon told me how outrageous you could be in Hamburg.

"He said he would pee from his window on the heads of nuns heading for church below.

"No wonder Little Richard described him as 'the Devil's own child'."
