LATEST: Rockers Linkin Park have finally resolved their long-running battle with record company Warner Bros and secured a $15 million (GBP8.5 million) advance to make their next album with the label.

The two have been at war for 10 months over concerns the band's music wasn't being properly marketed. Linkin Park demanded to be released from their four-album contract with Warner ahead of its conclusion.

No further details of the new agreement have been released, but a joint statement has been issued, reading, "We would like to thank Linkin Park fans worldwide for their continued support. Despite the initial concerns after last year's change in ownership, the band is pleased with the direction of the company and in Warner Bros Records' ability to effectively market their music worldwide."
