The original WONDER WOMAN insists there's no need for a movie about the superheroine because America's former First Lady is a real-life DIANA PRINCE.

LYNDA (corr) CARTER, who played Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in the hit 1970s TV series, believes SENATOR HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON is the living embodiment of the comic book character.

She says, "She raised the bar. She's so smart.

"Maybe she's ambitious. So what? Maybe she wants to be President. So what? She works her tail off. And she really wants to make the country better."

BUFFY, THE VAMPIRE SLAYER creator JOSH WHEDON is currently working on a movie adaptation of the TV series but has yet to name his star.
