M*a*s*h Actor Honoured With A Star
M*A*S*H surgeon WAYNE ROGERS has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
The screen doctor was joined by former castmates from the popular TV show when he received his accolade on the showbiz sidewalk yesterday (13DEC05).
The stellar tribute recognised the 72-year-old's prolific career, most recently in 2000 film FROZEN WITH FEAR and a string of theatre performances.
Outside of the industry he has made his mark in the business world as a successful entrepreneur and finance expert for Fox News Channel.
But it is Rogers' comic role as surgeon TRAPPER JOHN McINTYRE on the 1970s war show M*A*S*H which propelled the actor to fame.
Co-stars LORETTA SWIT and JAMIE FARR were on hand to congratulate the star as his glittering accolade - the 2,297th star on the legendary pavement - was unveiled.
He was also joined by actor Peter Falk, TV star MERV GRIFFIN and a host of family members.
