SCOOBY-DOO star Matthew Lillard fears he'll never be able to produce a son - because he feels he's far too feminine.

The actor recently revealed that he and his wife HEATHER are expecting their second child in October (04), and he believes his lacking masculinity may be blocking his ability to produce a boy.

He says, "I want a son. I'm just pretty sure I don't have a son in me. I'm one chromosome away from being a gay man.

"There's signs - like I love musical theatre. There's nothing wrong with musical theatre. There's nothing wrong with telling the story to a song!"

But Lillard does join the majority of men in one factor: "I'm a big sports fan."
