McCartney Conjures Up Lennon's Spirit In The Studio
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY still uses late songwriting partner John Lennon for inspiration when he's stuck with melodies and lyrics.
The former beatle admits he often conjures up the spirit of Lennon to help him when he's writing and composing in the studio.
He says, "I had this great, long relationship - not only did I know him on the road... I wrote all those songs with him.
"So, if I write songs now and I'm wondering where to go with a lyric I may, in my mind, think, 'What would me and John have done?'"
