Country couple Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill are continuing to use press conferences to launch their upcoming Soul2Soul tour to attack politicians who stood back and allowed Hurricane Katrina to devastate their native states. The pair is furious that so little was done to prevent the 2005 disaster and that state and federal politics are slowing down the relief effort. In a press conference on Wednesday (08MAR06) Hill blasted, "It's wrong. It's embarrassing. It really gets us fired up. That's our homeland." Meanwhile, MCGraw blasted President George W Bush following his visit to the devastated Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans earlier this week (ends10MAR06). He added, "There's no reason why someone can't go down there and say, 'I'm giving you a job to do and I'm not leaving here until it's done. And you're held accountable...' He's supposed to be the leader of the free world. "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore." The couple is now urging fans to vote Bush and the Republican Party out of office at the next presidential election.

Your article on Tim McGraw and Faith Hill is blatantly wrong and you should correct it. They aren't "continuing" to use their tour press conferences for anything. At one press conference they were asked about the Katrina cleanup and they answered. They also did not urge fans to vote anyone out of office. They just urged them to vote. Your twisting this story to suit your agenda is irresponsible.
