Metal Acts Collaborate For Tsunami Survivors
Heavy rockers THE USED and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE have teamed up to cover the 1981 QUEEN/DAVID BOWIE hit UNDER PRESSURE to raise funds for tsunami survivors.
The bands - who are currently enjoying each other's company on a joint American tour - are fearful for the future of the south east Asian countries worst hit by the 26 December (04) tragedy, so they decided to fuse their talents in the name of charity.
Money from the upcoming single will benefit the MUSIC FOR RELIEF charity, set up by rival rock act LINKIN PARK.
My Chemical Romance frontman GERARD WAY says, "It sounds awesome and now it's just a matter of getting it ready."23/03/2005 17:10
