Michael Douglas' first kiss with a girl proved to be a shocking experience for the star - because the girl of his desires stuck her tongue in his mouth.

The BASIC INSTINCT star admits that although he was the one who orchestrated the lip-lock, he knew nothing about getting tongues involved in the experience.

He says, "I remember JOANNE MYERS and I were sitting there in the theatre, and I reached my arm around, trying to keep up with the guys.

"I got my head close to hers. I was sweating. I finally got the nerve up and I went around for the kiss and her mouth was open, her tongue was down...Nobody told me about French kiss. I was like, 'Aaah! What is this?'"
