Mills Considering Legal Action Against Press 'Bullies'
LATEST: Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills is considering taking legal action to stop the recent spate of alleged sex scandals dogging her in the British tabloids. The former model, who split from MCCartney in May (06), has recently been accused of appearing in a "hardcore porn" shoot for a German book, as well as working as a high class prostitute before her marriage to the Beatles legend. She denies both charges. Her lawyer STEPHEN TAYLOR confirms he will discuss the possibility of suing one of the newspapers - the News of the World - today (12JUN06), in a bid to stop what he sees as tabloid bullying. An unnamed former executive at the British tabloid admits Mills has become an easy target since her split from MCCartney. He tells The Guardian, "There are a few people, and MCCartney is one of them, whom editors are reluctant to have a real go at. If you attacked Heather, you attacked Paul and the public might not like that. "But now she's lost Paul's protection, it's gloves-off time."
