Michael Caine has once again promised film fans he'll never bare all for a movie, because he fears cinema-goers won't be able to avert their eyes from his genitals.

The movie veteran has never agreed to appear nude in a movie, and he's not about to start now, even though his peers seem to be stripping off all over the place.

He says, "I base all my performances on your concentrating on what I'm doing, not what anything else is doing!

"No matter what happens, everybody will be looking elsewhere if I'm speaking, they're not looking at my face, and they're not listening to me.

"I don't even like to do it where I've got my clothes on and the woman is topless because I know if I'm speaking no one is looking at me. They're looking at her boobs.

"Even the women are looking at her boobs because they're comparing them. It's the unnaturalness of it I don't like. I mean I try to deal in absolute reality.

"The other thing you get is the actresses who don't really want to do it, but they'll say yes to get the part. A number of times I've heard hysterics and it's just tough to do."
