Orange Nearly Quit Take That Comeback
Nineties pop heart-throb Jason Orange nearly quit Take That's comeback tour on Sunday (23APR06), only minutes before the reformed boyband's concert started. Orange, 35, has reunited with Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald after ten years apart and admits he was so nervous before the group stepped on the Newcastle, England, stage, he considered leaving the arena. He explains, "I said out loud that I couldn't do it and I nearly pulled out of the tour. "Just before we went on stage, I was standing behind the curtain wondering what the hell I was doing. "I started telling myself it was ridiculous as I had nothing to prove and then I said that out loud too. The other lads started looking worried as they know I've been in a really difficult place the last few months. "I just got really scared and I was really thinking about not going on. Luckily they talked me into it and we had a great show."
