Actress MEERA has been fined by authorities in her native Pakistan after she appeared to kiss a co-star in a Bollywood movie.
The pretty star insists she never actually locked lips with costar ASHMIT PATEL in new film NAZAR, but Pakistani politicians are unconvinced.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Information says, "Meera's actions were against Islamic ethics and moral values."
The actress has already caused controversy in Pakistan by appearing in Indian movies, and admits she fears for her life if she returns home.
She insists the kiss was only an "impression" of a smooch.
