Palace Hits Back At Pink

Buckingham Palace officials have hit back at reports Prince William is a deer killer, urging pop star Pink to get her facts right before writing another letter to the British royal.

The singer sent the young prince a strongly-worded letter after reading he'd hunted and killed a deer while on safari in Africa, but his press aides insist the story is "totally untrue", as are other reports he killed the animals in Chile three years ago (00).

Palace officials have fired a letter back to Pink, via animal rights group PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS (PETA), insisting William only hunts foxes.

PETA spokesman MICHAEL McGRAW says, "I don't think this reply will satisfy Pink. She'll only be satisfied when William gives up hunting completely."
