Late British DJ John Peel will be honoured by a host of music stars at a charity Christmas concert in Manchester, England, later this month (19DEC04).

The gig will feature songs from the radio star's 'Festive 50' - a list of the year's greatest songs - performed by artists including Badly Drawn Boy, Stephen Fretwell, Haven and TRACTOR, one of Peel's first signings to his 1970s label Dandelion RECORDS.

All proceeds will be donated to charity AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL, a cause which was supported by Peel, who died from a heart attack in October (04) while holidaying in Cuzco, Peru.
