Psychedelic rock group Pink Floyd are being sued by their former backing singer CLARE TORRY for royalties from their 1973 album DARK SIDE OF THE MOON.

Singer/songwriter Torry claims she composed track four GREAT GIG IN THE SKY - which is named on the LP sleeve as having been written by bandmembers Roger Waters and Richard Wright.

Torry has filed suit in Britain's High Court against the ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL hitmakers and their record label EMI for potentially millions of royalties after she alleges she was only paid $54 (GBP30) for her contribution.

The suit alleges the band and EMI breached her copyright and is asking for damages and for an illicit copes of the track to be destroyed.
