Rascal Sets Up Record Label To Give Urban Acts A Chance
British rapper Dizzee Rascal has set up his own record label to give more UK urban acts a chance of being heard.
The BOY IN DA CORNER star has invested a chunk of his own fortune into label DIRTEE STANK, after becoming disillusioned with the way established music companies tone down controversial songs to make them more mainstream.
Rascal, real name DYLAN MILLS, explains, "Majors don't fully understand the scene. They try and water it down and it doesn't work.
"That's why I'm working on Dirtee Stank. I got my group KLASS A and I think they're really strong."24/04/2005 10:50
