Reynolds Sells Off Memorabilia To Help Fund Museum
Movie veteran Debbie Reynolds is struggling to get her memorabilia museum off the ground, so she's selling off some of her collected costumes and props to pay for it.
Funding for the Hollywood MOTION PICTURE MUSEUM fell through after 11 September (01) leaving her with an empty space and a warehouse full of 400 items.
So Reynolds will host an auction in Beverly Hills on Saturday (06DEC03) to raise cash.
One of the items which will go under the hammer is a private screening of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK with her daughter Carrie Fisher, who shot to fame as the movie's heroine PRINCESS LEIA.05/12/2003 02:26
