Rodman Settles Music Dispute
Former basketball star Dennis Rodman has settled a dispute with the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF COMPOSERS, AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS (ASCAB) over unpaid royalties for music played in his Los Angeles restaurant.
Rodman has agreed to pay ASCAB licensing fees dating back to 2002, and has also signed a new agreement with the industry body to cover future payments.
Rodman was reportedly unhappy about the rules surrounding music played commercially, saying in an email to the LOS ANGELES TIMES, "But hey, what can you do? We are under new management now, and I have taken every precaution that things like this do not happen again."31/01/2005 17:34
