German police have unearthed an illegal ticket touting scam surrounding THE Rolling Stones's dates in the country - and one of the group's most trusted security guards has been "suspended" as a result.

Illicit VIP passes for the FORTY LICKS tour were being sold to fans for large sums of money, and vocalist SIR Mick Jagger's loyal guard JIM CALLAGHAN - who has been with the group since 1990 - has been relieved of his duties pending police enquiries.

A spokesman for the hard rocking band says, "Mr Callaghan is currently on a leave of absence."
