Shelley And Diggle: The War Continues
Shelley insists he has the upper hand at verbally outwitting his guitar-slinging bandmate, but it's Diggle who prefers to settle the dispute with an all out scrap.
Shelley says, "Steve's probably quicker with his fists, but I'm usually able to out-manoeuvre him in the logic department.
"To this day, we're not afraid of a scrap. We're past masters at clearing hotel bars, which is an art in itself.
"Our rows usually end with him telling me that my songs are like MILLS + BOON (saccharine romantic novels) and me telling him that his are like RALPH McTELL's."
