Rockers Slayer have been forced to cancel the first two dates of the JAGERMEISTER MUSIC TOUR after frontman Tom Araya was diagnosed with vocal fatigue.

Fans in Springfield, Missouri, have been disappointed to learn that a show planned for Friday (29OCT04) has been scrapped, as has a concert date in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday (29OCT04).

Araya's doctor has advised him not to sing or speak for at least a week, and then not to sing for four consecutive days. Therefore, the 9 November (04( show in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, and the 26 November (04) show in Tampa, Florida, have also been called off.
