The Sugababes have dramatically axed their forthcoming tour - fuelling reports the band has split.

The girlband trio - Heidi Range, Mutya Buena and KEISHA BUCHANAN - claim they've cancelled their November (03) shows in Britain to complete their forthcoming album.

The news comes just a day after Range's mother revealed the singer is suffering with depression, but the Sugababes' spokesman insists the group have cancelled the gigs to concentrate on their LP.

He says, "The girls need more time to record their album so the tour had to be put back. We apologise to fans who have bought tickets but they will be valid for the dates in March (04)."
