Suge Fights For Rappers' Pensions
Rap mogul MARION 'SUGE' KNIGHT is softening his hardman image by campaigning for a union for hip-hop artists.
The DEATH ROW RECORDS founder, who is currently in jail awaiting charges on an alleged probation-violating fight outside a Los Angeles nightclub, will concentrate his efforts on fighting for rappers' rights when he's back behind his desk.
Knight explains, "I'm pushing for a union because, if somebody puts out five albums and they retire, they should get a pension for the rest of their lives. They should have their dental and health plans."15/07/2003 08:55
