Take That Back On Stage
The two have barely spoken since Robbie quit the all-conquering boyband in 1995.
While Owen disappeared into obscurity, re-emerging briefly last year (02) to appear on British TV's Celebrity Big Brother, Williams has stormed the charts in the UK and Europe - last year (02) signing a mammoth $128 million (GBP80 million) record deal with EMI.
But Robbie has offered Owen the chance to resurrect his career - at one of three gigs he is scheduled to play to 50,000 fans in Knebworth, England, on 1, 2 and 3 August (03).
According to sources the pair have been discussing the possibility bringing back some of Take That's biggest hits.
A friend tells British tabloid The Sun, "Robbie decided that after eight years it was time to forgive and forget. He thought the best way to help his old mate would be to get him on stage at Knebworth.
"Rob really missed Mark when he left Take That. It took a lot for them to start talking again, but now they're good mates."19/06/2003 02:26
