THE DA VINCI CODE star Audrey Tautou is dreading the movie's release later this month (19MAY06), because she fears losing her anonymity. Despite roles in Amelie and The Libertine, the French actress currently enjoys a low profile, and is terrified by the idea of the mass exposure. She says, "I know this film is going to change my life but I'm more frightened than excited. "It's going to be huge and it will bring me greater fame and greater recognition. "I'm not sure I'm ready for that." And she is even considering early retirement should the media glare become too bright. The 29-year-old is also considering a change of career, she adds, "I used to think I'd retire from films when I'm 40, then it was when I'm 30. And now? Maybe I would prefer to do something more discreet with my life."
